“ La Choza has officially become one of my favorite Mexican eateries in Boulder. As a foodie, I've learned to never judge a restaurant by its appearance, because some of the best places to eat at are either the small mom and pop restaurants or the hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I honestly much prefer these places over the fancy shmancy restaurants where the food is usually subpar at best. Originally, I was leaning towards taking our food to go, but I'm so glad we decided to dine in instead. We ordered the al pastor tacos and the torta with al pastor meat and fries--everything was so delicious and fresh. Although there are a few items on the menu that sound really appealing, I'll have to try my best not to order the same thing every time. The food is easily a 10/10. Service was great too. The woman who took our order was super friendly and helped my dining companion choose between 2 dishes. It was a toss up, but I think she helped us make the right choice for what we were craving today. I'll definitely be coming back! ”

“ This hole in the wall is such a great place. I came here on an afternoon. I ordered the taco platter and 4 tacos. 2 carnitas, 2 asada, and 2 barbacoa. The barbarcoa was soooo delicious! I love the mini sauce bar, my favorite sauces are the habanero, avocado, and chipotle! Lots of parking nearby. This place is tucked in the corner. The service was quick and friendly. ”
